This basket is a successful example of the extraordinary effect of Napkin technique:. With its pretty olive motif it is not only practical but fits optically in the kitchen, in the entrance area as well as on the terrace.
Here's how it's done
The complete wooden basket is primed with beige paint. For this Handicraft paint is wiped over all wooden surfaces with a Paint sponge until the paint is applied opaque.
The individual motifs are taken from the Napkin cut out. As soon as the paint has dried, the motif elements on the wooden box can be arranged in advance and possibly cut out a little more precisely. Now carefully remove the top layer from each of the napkin parts, paint the area selected from the wooden box with Napkin glue , place the motifs and carefully smooth them down with the brush.
After the wooden box has been completely designed in this way, the edges of the wooden box are lightly coated with brown stamping ink.
This idea is timelessly beautiful!
