Little cute gnomes can be made very quickly from wooden spools and Wooden balls, Jute ribbon and small decorative accessories. Together with a decorated willow wreath they are a particularly decorative eye-catcher! And it's as simple as that:
First of all the gnomes are made: For the small Deco figures wooden spools, Jute yarn and decoration accessories are needed. In the decoration example we used design-Felt, matching buttons and ribbon. With a fabric scissors thin strips of Design Felt are cut to size. These are wound together with the Jute yarn on the wooden spools and fixed with hot glue. The Yarn- or felt strip end, for example, can be hidden under a glued-on button. They form the body of the gnomes. Then the Wooden ball is glued as a head to the Spool . For the pointed cap, simply cut a triangle from design-Felt , form it into a pointed cap and glue the ends together. With cap, bow tie as neck ruff and Jute ribbon the gnomes are finally "dressed" and decorated.
The willow wreath is first wrapped with jute cords, Felt ribbon or other suitable Decorative ribbons and then pasted with paper flowers: For this purpose, flowers are punched out of suitable handicraft paper and made with a button as a flower center
Arrange gnomes and willow wreath together - ready is the eye-catcher!
