Easter is just around the corner and what could be better than embellishing your home with homemade decorations? In this step-by-step guide, you'll learn how to create adorable Easter bunnies from casting powder that can be placed in a lovingly designed Easter nest. Immerse yourself in the creative world of crafting and enjoy the DIY process!

Step 1: Mix the casting powder
Start by mixing the casting powder. Take about four tablespoons of casting powder and mix it with water until you have a creamy mixture. Make sure that there are no lumps and that the consistency remains even.

Step 2: Fill the mold
Now fill the previously mixed mixture into your desired mold. It is important to tap the mold lightly to remove any trapped air bubbles. These small cavities could cause your bunny to have unsightly holes, which you certainly want to avoid.

Step 3: Leave to dry
Leave the casting compound to dry for around hour . During this time, the clay will begin to harden and take on the shape of the bunny. Patience is required here, as removing it too early could lead to breakage.

Step 4: Demolding and smoothing the bunny
After Time to dry: you can carefully remove your bunny from the mold. Use sandpaper, to smooth the underside of the bunny. Sand gently and evenly until the base is flat and clean. Remember that your bunny should dry for a further 12 hours so that it hardens completely.

Step 5: Design the decorative plate
Take your wooden decorative plate. First glue some decorative-willow and Iceland moss to the board. These materials will give your arrangement a natural and lively look.

Step 6: Place the bunnies
Now it's time to position your homemade bunnies on the prepared decorative plate. Use a strong adhesive to hold them securely in place.

Step 7: Add gypsophila and decorative eggs
Use scissors to cut the gypsophila to the desired length. Glue the gypsophila and decorative eggs decoratively to the wooden panel. Spread them out evenly to create a harmonious overall look. And your beautiful Easter arrangement is ready!
