Domino in large format
Instructions No. 2220What could be better than having fun outdoors with friends and family? Inspired by the game of dominoes, in this tutorial we show you an oversized version of the classic! The simple lawn game with dominoes is very easy to make and will delight old & young.
This is how you make the game:
- Cut the polystyrene sheets into 4 equal parts with the polystyrene cutter.
- Then paint them with VBS Chalky Color. Apply a second coat of paint so that the colour covers properly.
- When dry, measure the centre and draw a black line with a marker.
- Punch out the eye numbers from the foam rubber plates with the motif punch. It is best to place a sheet of cardboard under the foam rubber!
- Glue the circles onto the polystyrene like different cube numbers using craft glue.
Instructions:
In the domino game, one stone is placed against another in turn. The numbers of dice must always be the same on the adjacent sides.
Distribute 7 dominoes to all players. The remaining stones are placed in a pile.
At the beginning, the first stone is drawn from the pile and placed face up in the middle. One after the other, the players try to place their stones. If someone is unable to place a stone, they must draw from the pile until they have drawn a matching stone. This domino is then placed.
The dominoes must always be placed directly against another domino. It is not allowed to simply place the dominoes anywhere on the board.
Only pieces with the same number of points as the adjacent piece can be placed.
The winner is the player who has placed all the dominoes first.
