This cute autumn decoration is an eye-catcher in your home. These hedgehogs were formed from pine cones and salt dough and then painted. With our instructions, you can easily make these hedgehogs and conjure up a beautiful decoration. This idea is also perfect for spending some creative hours with children.

First, protect your workspace from contamination with a craft mat.

Mix the salt dough with water to a kneadable mass. First roll one ball per hedgehog. Then shape it into a cone. Press a pine cone onto the thick end of the cone. Shape the snout of the hedgehogs. Now leave your hedgehog family to dry for several days.

Then you can paint your hedgehogs as you like with craft colours. Glue on the wiggly eyes.

Glue them onto the tree discs with moss, decorative willow and autumn leaves.
