Napkin technique on fabric
The opaque textile transfer medium is coated flat and opaque on a plastic film. The lower two unprinted paper layers of the owls-Napkin are removed, the printed paper layer is placed on the transfer medium and left to dry
Transparent textile transfer medium is now thickly coated over the motifs, so that the Napkin is completely enclosed by the medium. After 24 hours of drying time, the Napkin is removed from the foil and the motifs are cut out. For the 3D-fabric-owl eyes and belly spot or wings cut.
Transfer the contours of an owl twice to fabric, cut the fabric and sew it together, leave a small opening for the filling cotton wool. Afterwards the owl is painted with Marabu textile paint and then modelled to a 3D object with cotton wool.
Design a bag
The Jute-Dye the bag with Marabou textile plus, the figure wire for the "branches" brown. Make a Stencil from photo cardboard for leaves in 2 sizes, transfer the leaf contours to light green and grass green Felt and cut them out. Paint on the leaf veins with the fine-liner.
Finally, first the Napkins-owls are arranged, ironed on with permanent iron-on foil at cotton level for about 4 minutes. Then the branches, leaves and the fabric owl are fixed with hot glue
