Instructions No. 3375
Difficulty: Beginner
Working time: 2 Hours
Before you start marbling, protect your workspace. Spread out old newspapers or something similar on your table to protect it from possible paint splashes and water stains.
For the marbling process, you need a container that you won't need again later, as the paint residue only is difficult to remove. An old bucket or bowl works well.
Equip yourself with disposable gloves to protect your hands from the paint, which is only difficult to wash off.
Fill the chosen container with cold tap water. Shake the marbling paints thoroughly so that the color pigments are evenly distributed.
Now carefully drizzle a few drops of your chosen marbling paints onto the surface of the water. Take a bamboo skewer and gently draw patterns in the floating colors. Be careful not to use too many colors to achieve a harmonious end result.
Stick a wooden bead onto the tip of a bamboo skewer. Carefully dip it into the color mixture and pull it out again evenly. For drying, place the pearl in a wet-flower arrangement foam, so that it does not come into contact with the wet paint and can dry evenly. Repeat this step for each wooden bead.
Once the beads are completely dry, you can string them together with the letter beads onto a rubber cord. This creates individual bracelets or necklaces. Finally, close the ends of the elastic cord with a double knot to ensure that your jewelry is stable and durable.
