Preparing the base
Start with the base plate, which forms the foundation for your entire miniature sauna landscape. Take as many craft blocks as you like and carefully glue them together. This will give the sauna landscape stability and provide enough space to place all the little details that you will add later.
Build a shelf
The shelf is a perfect addition to your miniature world. Use the VBS wooden sticks "Nature" for this. Glue the sticks together so that they form a small shelf. Once the glue has dried, you can get creative: Paint the shelf in the colours of your choice using the VBS craft paints. This gives the scene a warm and inviting look.
Towels in miniature format
To enhance the typical sauna ambience, make small towels from craft felt. Cut strips to the desired length and thickness, roll them up and fix the end with a little glue to prevent them from unravelling.
Decorate the zinc tub and bucket
Fill a small zinc tub and a miniature bucket with VBS Wax beads. Make sure the tub is filled to the brim before placing two small ducks on top. These adorable details liven up the scene and add a playful element.
Design a miniature toilet
For a traditional sauna atmosphere, cut the wooden sticks into the appropriate sizes so that they fit into your miniature toilet as a bench. Glue them in place so that they are stable. Paint the little house with the VBS craft paints to give it character. Create a small infusion pot from the sticks and paint this too before placing it in your little house. For the sauna sign, cut a wooden spatula to size and attach a small cord loop to the back. Write "Sauna" on it to add the finishing touch.
Design the barrel and stool
Paint the miniature barrels with VBS craft paints to your taste to make them visually exciting. For small stools, stack some mini bark discs on top of each other and glue them down. They are the perfect seating for your miniature scenery.
Glass bottle decoration pendant
You can fill the miniature glass bottles to your heart's content. We have filled them with VBS Wax beads and some diluted white craft paint, which creates an interesting effect.
The finishing touches
Once all the parts are ready, position all the miniature materials on the previously prepared base plate as you like.
