Step 1: Preparing the Confetti Bags

Take a sheet of transparent paper and cut it in half lengthwise. The strips should be 10.5 cm wide. Then cut 19 cm from these strips.

Fold the strip at approximately 4 - 5 cm. Measure 9 cm from the fold line and fold the other end of the strip to the center as well. A small part should now overlap. Glue the bags together here.

Step 2: Preparing Decorations and Confetti

For the confetti, take the cardboard and punch as many clovers as you need for your bags. For weddings, a heart punch is also beautiful. Tip: If you cut the cardboard to the approximate width of the punch area beforehand, it makes punching easier.

Mix the clovers with the sequins. This works best in a small container, which also makes filling the bags easier later. Depending on how you want to decorate and label the confetti bags, you can stamp or write on white cardboard. Punch or cut the elements accordingly. If you plan to sew them on both sides later, they should be exactly 9 cm wide.

Step 3: Sewing the Bags

After preparation, first sew only one side of the bags closed with the sewing machine. If you have prepared elements from paper that span the entire width, you should sew these in as well. If they are only attached on one side, you can add them during the second seam. Then fill your confetti bags with the confetti mix and sew the second side closed. Make sure that both sides are sewn at least enough to keep the confetti from falling out.

If you haven’t sewn in cardboard, you can simply attach additional decorations to the transparent paper with craft glue after sewing. Or draw directly on the bags.
