Moulding and customising soap
First, carefully heat the mould soap. You can use a melting pot or a melting ladle in a water bath for this. A water bath means that the container with the soap is placed in a pot of hot, but not boiling water - this allows the soap to melt evenly and gently.
Once the soap is completely liquid, add soap colour and fragrance oil as desired. Stir everything thoroughly so that the colour and fragrance are evenly distributed. Then pour the soap mixture into the casting mould and leave it to harden. After around 4-5 hours, you can carefully remove the solid soap from the mould.
Decorate the soap and pump bottle with the napkin technique
For the decorative design, cut or tear your desired motifs out of a napkin or handkerchiefs. Make sure to remove all unprinted layers - only the top layer of printed paper is needed.
Now apply a thin layer of napkin varnish to the soap and the pump bottle using a napkin brush. Carefully place the motif on the damp surface and smooth it out. Then seal the motif with another coat of varnish. Allow everything to dry completely so that the motifs are durable and protected.
Making liquid soap for the pump bottle
For the matching liquid soap, mix 300 ml of base gel with soap colour and fragrance oil. Stir the mixture slowly so that no air bubbles form. Then pour the finished soap gel into the prepared pump bottle.
Painting and protecting the wooden soap dish
Paint the wooden soap dish with white craft paint. Once dry, it can also be decorated using the napkin technique. Finally, coat the tray completely with napkin varnish and leave everything to dry well: the napkin varnish coating protects the tray from moisture.
Decorate and finish
Finally, you can lovingly decorate your home-made soap set with daisy blossoms and small decorative bee elements. This creates a harmonious overall look that radiates freshness and naturalness.
