Here's how to make the angels:
First, use scissors to cut a piece of jute ribbon with wire edge about 16 cm long and fold it in half. Then fold the top, open end accordion-style and glue it with hot glue into the opening of the wooden ball , which forms the angel’s head. To create a hanger later on, cut a piece of sisal cord approximately 14 cm long with scissors, fold it in half, and glue it from the opposite side into the wooden ball using hot glue. Next, cut two additional pieces of sisal cord, each 20 cm long, fold them together, and tie them into a loop. Attach this loop to the angel from the front, between the head and jute ribbon , using hot glue.
If you want the angel to have wings made from jute ribbon and Marabu-feathers , cut another piece of jute ribbon approximately 25 cm long with scissors. Fold both ends toward the center and glue them in place from the back, a short distance below the head, using hot glue. Next, two Marabu-feathers are glued on each side between the body and the jute wings. Alternatively, you can use only feathers as wings by attaching two feathers to the body on each side from the back using hot glue. For the halo, cut a piece of sisal cord about 5 cm long with scissors, form it into a circle, and secure it with hot glue. The finished halo is then glued to the top of the wooden head.
Once the hot glue has completely dried, the angel is finished and can be hung up or displayed as a decoration. Have fun crafting and creating!
