Creative decoration idea - A rustic frame for your bird house
Step 1: Painting the bird house
First, paint your birdhouse according to your ideas. Here you have a free hand in choosing the colours and shapes. Think about which colours suit your home. Once you have painted the bird house, allow the paint to dry completely before continuing.
Step 2: Shape the frame from birch branches
Now it's time to prepare the birch branches. Lay the branches together in the way you want the frame to look. Then use hot glue to attach the branches to the joints. Make sure you use a generous amount of glue so that the frame holds well.
Step 3: Reinforce the frame with jute ribbon
Once the glue has dried, take a piece of jute ribbon and wrap it crosswise around the joints of the birch branches. This gives the frame extra stability and creates a rustic look.
Step 4: Integrate the birdhouse into the frame
Slide the dried birdhouse into the centre of the frame. Make sure it is well centred. To attach the house, tie the loop of the house to the top edge of the frame.
Step 5: Decorative wrapping
Add the finishing touch to the overall work by wrapping jute cord around the frame to the right and left of the birdhouse loop. This creates a harmonious overall impression.
Step 6: Final decoration
Finally, you can decorate your work with small decorative birds. Attach them to the birch branches or around the birdhouse to create a lively and natural look.
