Wedding Stationery - Get Creative with Save the Date

Step 1: Create Creative Save the Date Cards

Start with the outside of the card and sketch "Save the Date" in your desired font first with a pencil. Perfect the positioning, then trace over the writing with a pen. Let everything dry well before removing the guide lines.

To design the inside, create a personalized calendar sheet on the computer and mark the wedding day with a heart. Print this design on linen cardstock, cut it out, and glue it into your card.

On the outside, affix a strip of double-sided tape under the writing, stick lace on it, and trim it to fit. Decorate the envelope flap with the lace as well, before sketching a heart for decoration. A self-adhesive rose serves as a stylish closure for the envelope.

Step 2: Elegant Wedding Invitation Cards

Note: The invitation card opens downward. Start, as with the "Save the Date" cards, with the handwritten design inside. With precise guide lines, a centered placement is achieved.

Next comes the decoration with lace and lace paper. Affix the lace paper centrally at the top and the lace with double-sided tape below.

After drying, wrap twine several times around the card, string letter beads, and tie the twine with a knot. Satin ribbon complements the twine decor with a bow in the middle. Half-pearls finally set bright accents.

For the text inside, design it on the computer, print it out, and glue it into the card.

The envelope receives a fine touch with lace, half-pearls, and decorative elements similar to the previous example.

Step 3: Tissue Pockets "For Tears of Joy"

These special tissue pockets are perfect for drying tears of joy during emotional moments at your wedding. Design the phrase "For Tears of Joy" on linen paper, apply it to the pocket, and decorate the edge with half-pearls. Twine and a small heart complete the design.
